He began his career in the martial arts with Kendo, followed by Judo before finally settling on Karate at the age of 14. He spent 18 months at the Dojo in Inoue before joining the Dojo in Yoseikan with Minoru MOCHIZUKI. He remained there several years, practising not only Karate but also, Aïki Jutsu, Aïkido and Katory Chinto-Ryu.
In 1974, Hiroji FUKAZAWA was sent to France by Minoru MOCHIZUKI to help his son, Hiroo. Then, he moved to the north of Italy for two years where he established the Wado-Ryu style. |
